Hi, I’m Cara Rust—first and foremost, a storyteller.

Whether it’s through filmmaking or video editing, I love bringing stories to life in ways that feel meaningful and impactful. When I’m not collaborating with clients on polished video edits, I’m busy creating my own narrative films, where I have complete creative freedom (and that’s honestly the dream).

My filmmaking journey began in childhood, where I directed my Barbies in a Titanic adaptation and shot backyard horror films with tomato sauce. Decades later, I’m still telling stories—though thankfully with better props. My short films have earned international recognition, and on set, I thrive on positivity, creative collaboration, and keeping things organised.

As a video editor, I help clients turn raw footage into standout content—whether it’s for corporate campaigns, scroll-stopping social media, or sleek advertisements. Every project is an opportunity to tell a story that resonates, and I’m all about finding the perfect balance between creativity and purpose.
